On Thursday, Tata Motors announced the launch of the new Tiago XTA variant. The new version of Tata’s popular hatchback has been launched at 5.99 lakh (former showroom, Delhi).
The main highlight of the new Tiago XTA variant includes an ATM gearbox, and according to Tata, the new launch strengthens its automatic line with four AMT options.
Commenting on the launch of the new look, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors, said, “Fulfilling our brand promise of having a new Forever, we are constantly listening and gathering feedback from the market. Tiago has responded to a lot of markets across the regions. ”
Tiago was originally launched in India in 2016. The BS6-Space version of the same hatchback was later released in 2020. The same model also went on to achieve a 4-star protection rating by GNCAP.
It is supplied by Herman with various features like 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, automatic climate control, 15-inch alloy wheels and a digital instrument cursor.
“Furthermore, the Auto Transition (IT) segment is evolving in India and this has also been proven in Tiago sales. Acknowledging the growing priority for AT, we are keen to introduce the XTA version in the range and this confident new look will not only give competitive edge to mid-hatch segments. Each price point will provide an accessible option to choose from, ”Srivastava added.
